A single night in the limestone hills, built around a hands-on Portuguese cooking evening, reached by way of Coimbra and its historic university.
Stop 3
Évora
3 nights
Inside the walls of a UNESCO city, and the base for the Alentejo — wine estates, olive oil, cork, amphora wine, Cante Alentejano, and a blending workshop.
Stop 4
Lisbon
2 nights
Guided sightseeing, a farewell dinner with live Fado, and a full free day in the capital before the journey home.

Guided exploration of Porto's tiled churches and riverfront, then a private guided visit through the Port cellars of Vila Nova de Gaia with a tasting.

A winery visit, tasting, and lunch in the UNESCO-listed Douro Valley, followed by a private cruise aboard a traditional Rabelo boat.
Guimarães and Vinho Verde
The birthplace of Portugal, explored with a local guide, followed by a regional lunch paired with Vinho Verde in the green north.

A cooking evening in Alvados

Airport transfers aren't part of this program. You'll arrange your own transportation from Porto airport to the hotel on arrival, and from the Lisbon hotel to the airport on departure.

You'll know your travel companions before you land in Porto.
Registered travelers will be invited to several Portugal-focused tastings and informal gatherings before departure, giving the group time to meet one another and begin exploring the wines, food, and culture of the regions they will visit.
By the time the group meets at the airport, it won't be a room full of strangers — it will be a group of Fence Stile friends arriving in Portugal together.

This is a small-group journey with a maximum of 20 travelers and a minimum of 15 travelers required for the trip to operate.
$5,195 per person, double occupancy ($10,390 per couple). Single occupancy is $6,695 per person and is limited.
A $500 deposit per person reserves your place on the journey.
If the minimum of 15 travelers is not reached, deposits will be refunded.
